5 weeks postpartum

So I'm 5 weeks pp and a little confused what's been going on. Went I give birth I bleed heavy for about a week and then had medium to light bleeding for week 2 and mostly spotting for week 3. Then I stop bleeding for the last 2 and a half weeks. 3 or 4 days ago I started getting period like cramps and symptoms. Then yesterday I started bleeding light medium again and assumed this was period. But now it's so light more like spotting and not getting any heavier, I also still have very light cramps. Is this my period? Is your first period after baby just werid.
