my partner recently told me they want to try knife play and see how it is, and im completely down to trying it ON THEM, but im also scared i might hurt them because i really don’t know how to do it or even what knife play is. i dont think i’d ever want them to do it to me because it’s not my thing but i’m willing to try anything with my partner if they want, how would i do it safely??

edit: i want to add that we have not had sex yet, but they have with their past partners. we are not going to do anything dangerous our first time, but i want to know some more about this so i can maybe use it later
