What’s your favorite part(s) about having a son?

I’m completely fine with having a boy I’m just nervous because I’ve never had one and I’m not confident on what I’m doing. I know boys and girls can be so different. Thank you for easing my mind. But truly I’m fine with a boy or girl. ☺️😊

When I was pregnant with my first child I really wanted a girl because I have such a close relationship with my mom but ended up with a boy and everyone told me there’s something special about little boys and they were not wrong. They’re wild and crazy and energetic but also so incredibly sweet and so much fun. He’s always wanting to go on an adventure and it’s exhausting sometimes but SO FUN. I love having a boy!

Honestly, not having a child with female genitalia to compare, I can’t imagine it being much different. My mom swears there’s this “different connection” between mothers and sons and mothers and daughters, but she had a very unhealthy, codependent relationship with my brothers. Not to invalidate her feelings on it, just to give context. 
I adore my baby boy, he’s so sweet and I love the way he looks at me with such trust and pure joy. I’m sure his genitals don’t *really* contribute to that wonderful feeling. But seriously, how can you NOT fall in love with this face?!?!

They’re rowdy, and silly, and so much fun.  They’re exhausting, but will snuggled up to you at the end of the day and make all of the craziness go away.  They adore their mamas fiercely.  I have 4 mamas boys and they are just the sweetest ever.❤️

I’ve had both and the only difference is my daughter would play nicely and quietly independently. But my son, if you try to give him independent play time oh boy. He’s climbing on things, jumping on things, pulling things off shelves and tables, out of cupboards, ripping things up etc etc
However my niece is the exact same way sooooo 🤷🏻‍♀️
My mom says your daughter will end up being your best friend, but your son will always be your child. Which I think is a little ick but I think I’ll have a better idea of the differences when both are grown lol

I love being a boy mama. I don't have a girl but it's so fun to be a mom to these kids. They're so wild and crazy but love to snuggle up at the end of the day and read books. I don't feel like a girl would be wildly different but I think it's just per the personality of each kid, not so much gender 😊 my first is a big daddy's boy and my second very much a mama's boy and so sensitive. They both love to do such dangerous stuff and it terrifies me 😩 I've seen little girls be just like that though!

I have both a girl and a boy. Granted, they are still young (3yo and 15months) but aside from boys being waaay easier with nappy changes, I haven’t noticed much difference at this point. It could be personality, my son is definitely more into reading books, arts and crafts, etc. than physical type activities.

I have a 3.5 year old boy. 
My son is so sweet with a smidge of stubborn. He is a very happy person, the light of any group, the welcoming committee where hugs are mandatory for anyone that enters, he knows all car brands, loves everything louder and bigger, a big goofball that laughs at burps and farts, talks all of the time, knows soooooo many dinosaur names(seriously!), patiently plays with babies, says please, thank you and you’re welcome, holds my hand everywhere we go, loves to crawl in with me on my side of the bed when he wakes up in the morning, believes that I know everything(if I don’t, he says “you know”), says Mama about 3,275,921 times per day and just recently told me that he isn’t sure he should start preschool in September because he doesn’t want me to be home alone without him.
It’s truly hard to describe with words. But I do believe there is something special about the mother son bond.

Sorry to jump on your post but I found out I’m having a boy aswell.
How the hell do I clean down there? I know for a girl it’s different but my family are full of girls so no boys. 
Also what if I don’t circumcise my son how does that affect it to?

My 2 boys are the biggest softies, the oldest more so than my baby 💙 there's something quite amazing about mother & son bond which I can't really explain but it makes you melt. I wanted a girl first but I was obviously made to be a boy mum, I honestly don't think I could've handled a girl come puberty lol!
