Testing adter d&c

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks with findings of no heartbeat and no sac baby was measuring 6 weeks i had a d&c the following day its been 12 days since the d&c ive been bleeding since then which my doctor said was normal i tested on mothers day with a positive and the following day which looked the same but today ive been having more cramping and a bit more bleeding and decided to test to see if it could possibly be my period at this point and the test seems darker has anyone experienced this i see the doctor tomorrow but im just concerned and was hoping to here other peoples experiences
