Why would a man joke about me cheating?

Question

Every now and then, it’s rare but enough for me to take notice my husband teases me and says things like “you got another man on speed dial?” Or just light hearted jokes about me having another man or something but it’s odd to joke about to me. 
Why would he joke about me cheating? It’s not funny. I’m not and have never cheated. 
Has your man done this?

My husband and I joke like this😅 he’s getting ready to go on deployment so I’ll say things like “tell your boat boo I say hi” and he’ll say things along the lines of “tell you boyfriend to be gone before I get home”. It’s our sense of humor (twisted and weird, I know) but if you’re not comfortable with those comments, let him know. Communication is key to every relationship!!

Yeah weve joked about it here or there, like if my husband is being nosey about what Im texting I will be like hey dont look Im chatting with my boyfriend, or if he sees me getting more dressed up he will say ahhh who's the lucky guy?? We both work from home so we are together like 24/7 so it's super nothing serious for us.

When my husband makes healthy food choices I joke that he’s “tryna get skinny for dem hoes” lol I don’t know why couples say stuff like this to each other but it seems to pretty common and not really an indicator of anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll never understand why men think these are “jokes” It’s more so insecurity that they’re dumping all over you. And hide it under the guise of a “joke”.

Maybe he's just insecure and trying to conceal it by joking. I think people do this a lot. Especially when it comes to jealousy in a secure relationship. 
I get jealous even though I rationally know that there is no reason at all. Then I'm ashamed of myself and that used to keep me from bringing it up to my partner. But jealousy and insecurity suck the most and hit hardest when they're not out in the open. So we developed some kind of safeword to let the other know, hey, what you just said/did/... made me jealous even though I know I don't need to be, I feel ridiculous, please hug me. Works.

Yes my man has done this, very occasionally is fine. But when it becomes frequent, or if he seems persistent that you’ve cheated, then it becomes unhealthy and of concern in my opinion.

My fiancé and I joke all the time like that. Whenever he’s playing his games I ask if he’s talking to his boyfriends. He does the same to me when I talk to our one friends girlfriend or our sons godmother.
