I would do anything in my power to avoid Friday commuting traffic. Or even go somewhere Thursday night, work there on Friday and then be able to turn off and enjoy my get away immediately.

I do C. No one in my office ever wants a Friday so I do it and the bosses seem to appreciate it. Since I was apart of the 3 people that were furloughed during Covid for over a year, I feel like it’s good to show my worth and do things that not everyone else likes to do. 
I have to work in the office two days regardless so I don’t really care which days. I tend to do Monday and Friday or Tuesday and Friday in the office. 
Works out well and on my days home I’ll add a little extra time each day so I can leave a little early on Fridays.

I'd pick B.  When I was working a hybrid schedule it was more difficult for me to find the motivation to go in later in the week if I had already worked from home 2 or 3 days.  I didn't like every other day because it felt like multiple Mondays in one week.  I'd want at least a Monday or a Friday to be remote to take advantage of any opportunities that came up to have a long weekend away. As long as there's no restriction that you absolutely have to be in your home to be working you'd have the ability to leave after work on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and have a combo if a working vacay.
