Would it be “offensive”? Please give me opinions!

Question

So I just found out I’m expecting baby #4 at the age of 21 (will be 22 in July) 
All my children have names that have a meaning.
With this baby, if it’s a girl, I’ll be naming her after my mother who passed away unexpectedly and my grandmother. But I also want to give her a name meaning “sent from Heaven”. 
Would it be offensive for me to use an Arabic name “Alya”, although I am not Arabic? I don’t want to offend anyone who is Arabic, so that is why I’m asking. Please give me your opinions! Thank you! ❤️

I think our society is definitely prone to offense and it’s kind of sad, but that being said, the culture being honored, depicted or whatever are usually not the ones being offended - it’s usually someone else being offended for them. If people are offended I feel like that’s their problem. I think the name is beautiful and the tribute even more so! I’m sorry for the loss of your mom but what a wonderful way to honor her 💕

My name is Arabic and I am Portuguese and Jamaican! Everytime I meet Arabic speakers they love telling me about my name and give me compliments on it. I love it, it's so nice to hear my name said correctly and learning about it too! :)
