Gender Theory!

Just a disclaimer because i got two not nice replies telling me “it’s not how it works” and made me feel like I’m dumb…I’m just making this post for fun, I’m not saying it’s science I’m just in a competition with my husband on what we think it’s going to be! Kind of like old wives tales, this isn’t a post meant to argue on the science of it or “how it works”. i know you can’t decide how you naturally have a boy or girl or truly know what it is until you have the genetic testing/ultrasound. Trust me i know😅 i just like hearing the old wives tales and trying to guess what it is before we know!

So i was thinking about this today..I’m convinced I’m having a girl. It’s just a feeling. I think i know the night it happened even though we had sex two days within the correct time frame to conceive before I ovulated…and they say to try a couple days further out if you want a girl (again, i know it’s not science it’s just a theory) and I was only a day late with my period when I found out. The line showed up within 30 seconds and VERY dark, so my theory….since you *typically* have higher hCG levels with a girl, do you think that’s what causes the darker line? Because some people are later with their missed period and end up with a lighter line. Also, i know i ovulated on the correct day (8th) so i was definitely only one day late. I have a super regular cycle. Has this been a theory and I’m just now thinking i came up with it?😂 I’m so anxious to know what we’re having!!(we find out June 2nd!)
