So I knew there was a slim chance of pregnancy. But, my period was late and I decided to test. I got either a ton of indents or I had a chemical. I got a negative and stopped testing. The next day I had specks of brown spotting when wiping twice. Thought it was coming, but here I am 12 days late and no period. So I had tests rushed to the house (I don’t drive anymore) and I took them with FMU as they arrived at 7am! Negative CB digital and negative FRER. So I just went about my day confused and then reading sometimes women have not gotten positives up until 14 days late before!? Any experience with that?

Then I heard back from my PCP through a portal message because I called Friday. I started an injectable weekly med 3 weeks ago. I’ve had a lot of side effects and was asking if it can stop your period. She said it’s not a side effect, but it can be a symptom of thyroid disease/cancer which this medication warns about 😭. She did ask when prescribing it if I had any family history of thyroid issues and my bloodwork was good and that I would be fine.

So now I’m left with either I have a severe thyroid issue causing this from just only 3 doses. Or that’s not enough to do it and there’s still the possibility of pregnancy. I’m so lost. She ordered bloodwork for my thyroid.
