HE THINKS IM PUTTING ROOTS ON HIM

Alright ladies, this is a very strange situation I am in. I have a lover, we were friends for 2 years before I actually gave him a chance. I finally gave him the chance & he literally made me feel the happiest! He never disrespected me, we could always talk about our spiritual well being, he always confessed his love for me, & if we ever have a slight disagreement he would do whatever to make me feel at ease again. This has been him even when we were friends for the first 2 years. Currently he has been acting extremely strange. Like I know him and it’s like now, he’s a completely different person. He acts like he hates me! And within a total of 3 years he has never been like this. Then he finally said I’ve been trying to put roots on him! & he is sticking to it. Y’all I don’t even do that type of stuff, I’m scared to even research about it! Now he’s Jamaican and said due to his family history he knows more about that stuff than I would ever. And a few months ago, someone placed this potato with syrup and screws in his yard. He picked it up and touched it. He confirmed that someone tried to do an obsession love spell on him. He said he threw it away and he was done with it. Fast forwarding now he’s blaming me for that. When I never would do such a thing and it breaks my heart so bad. And it’s such a crazy situation cause it’s like I lost him. No matter what I do, what I say… he thinks I’m trying to sabotage him with roots and he just doesn’t want to have anything to do with me. His brother and I was even speaking and he said it’s weird too because we were soooo in love. Like he would brag about the love he had for me to all his friends and family. It really felt like we were soulmates, best friends. And it’s like I lost him cause he woke up a different person. For my spiritual people, can I get some advice on what might be going on? And why he is blaming me for trying to put roots on him?
