Kindergarten or Pre-K?

Is anyone else getting their October baby tested for early entrance to kindergarten?
My daughter had been bored at her preschool so we are having her tested in July for early entrance to kindergarten and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Is anyone else in this same boat?

My little starts prekindergarten in august!

My Daughter just passed her assessment and is going to Kindergarten. She did not get a chance to go to Pre-school due to financial issues, but we worked on preschool curriculum with her and I believe she is ready to start Kindergarten in August.

My son has been attending Preschool and finally in August he will start TK 😊 (transitional kindergarten) Here in California theres a new guidelines for born later september thru february to start Universal Kindergarten.

My little will start PreK in August! I’ve never even considered getting her tested for early kindergarten. I’d rather have her be after the top of her class in PreK academically and maturity wise than have her be towards the bottom in kindergarten. It helps their confidence so much to be ahead. Plus I feel our teachers at our school go above and beyond to meet each students needs. If they ever felt my daughter was bored or needed to be challenged more, they would try their best to provide some enrichment opportunities to further their academic growth. 😊
