Does body count define someone’s character ?

Do you think body count defines someone as a person to be a potential partner?

I got into a debate with an old male co worker cause he asked “if body count doesn’t matter why lie about it to potential relationships.” He specifically asked this question towards women.

He obviously didn’t like the answer I gave which was I think it’s the double standards society put onto relationships. How a man could sleep with many women and get high fives while women are looked down upon and called sluts.

So I wondered what other opinions are on this question
