I think it depends on your preference honestly. Traditionally they are only women, but we had a co-Ed shower for our first. My husband is really involved in our pregnancies and I wanted him to be included!

I have been to coed ones but mostly I have gone to ones with just women. My husband was there at the beginning of mine to say hi, then him, my dad, brother, FIL, uncle and a few other guy friends went to hang out then my husband came back at the end to say thank you and help load the car.

We had a co-ed shower. It was weird to me to do it alone--its half his kid and he's raising it too?

I only had girls at mine but my husband did Come at the end and thank everyone and open presents etc.  I have also been to a baby shower where the muma to be had quite a few male friends invited.
