So I went in this morning for my first ultrasound. According to my last period I thought I was 6 weeks. The doctor said I look about 5 weeks and five days but I didn’t see a heartbeat. I saw the gestational sac and embryo. She said I was still kinda early but wanted me to come back next week to confirm pregnancy. There also was a storm in the area that knocked out the power so she couldn’t order blood work. Has anyone ever had to come back a week after their first ultrasound. She said don’t worry that it looks how it’s supposed to look at 5 weeks and 5 days but it’s hard not to worry.
