Am I being the asshole here?

My friends with my best friends of about 10 years is slowly dying out because I don’t really talk with her anymore. We don’t see each other because I work full time and have a child of my own, she expects me to want to visit when it’s convenient for her which is usually before I go to work which I don’t do much out of my house before work unless I have to. Also anytime we talk on the phone her whole conversation revolves literally around what she’s buying her children; idk if it’s because she’s a stay at home mom and she has nothing else to talk about or if she’s just trying to brag (which she doesn’t need to because I’m honestly happy her children are able to have nice things, kids deserve that). My sister thinks it’s petty to avoid her text but for me I’d rather have actual conversation than spend time helping someone gush about the things they constantly by their children
