I have had a mirena IUD in since the beginning of 2019. My periods were irregular for approximately the first 6 to 8 months of having it in however over the past year and a half they have even pretty regular between 26 to 30 day cycles. My boyfriend and I never use protection and he never pulls out. This is the first Time in over a year that my cycle has been longer than 31 days. My period is currently eight days late and I have tested numerous times with numerous brands and they all keep coming back negative the most recent test being this morning. Should I be concerned that I am possibly pregnant or are my cycles just changing? I am fully aware that having an IUD can stop your periods however I was told that that was going to occur within the first year of having the IUD inserted.
