Sleep is for the weak?

Question

My daughter has been sleeping like crap since she turned 2 on Monday. She wakes up screaming, or cries in her sleep and im up constantly trying to comfort her. Last night we had to move her into our bed because she shares a room with her 5 month old sister and we didn't want her to wake the baby. Is anybody in a similar boat? Or been in this boat before? Tell me it gets better. My 5 month old doesn't even wake in the night anymore and hasn't in months so this running on minimal sleep is killing me all over again.

Hey my son turned 2 in the 16th 
He's been doing something similar waking up hysterically screaming inconsolable. I have to take him into my bed. I hope it passes quick.

My daughter did the same thing right when she turned 2. I didn’t know if she was having nightmares or something. She got to where she didn’t even want to go in her crib anymore. She was scared. I put a nightlight and that made it better for a couple weeks. Now she’s waking up again but it’s not that terrifying screaming cry like it was before

Mine did this from about 18months and as soon as he turned 2 he started sleeping through the night. It's a phase... But also he was teething molars one by one. This last week he's started teething again another molar (they come in one by one for him) but he finally understands what's happening so when he wakes up crying we sort of wake him up and explain to him it's his tooth, we comfort him and he goes back to bed. I have a 8month old and my 2 year old just turned 2 two weeks ago, they also share a room. So i understand the struggle. I have to constantly remind myself that my little man is basically still a baby, he's only 2 he doesn't reason well yet so being extra patient with him and myself that all of this is okay, he's growing.

my son went through this a few months the back for probably a few weeks it was rough and I was constantly worried he was ill but couldn't tell me.
but it did stop and hes back to normal now.

My daughter did this at 18 months and it took months to get her sleeping good again. Every once in a while she will wake screaming but not normally. It was terrible but it did get better. Do you stay with her while she falls asleep or do you leave the room while she is awake? If you stay then she might not know how to put herself back to sleep when she wakes up. And waking up one night can easily become a habit.

At least once a week my daughter goes to bed super late and then wakes up in the middle of the night for a couple hours. It’s exhausting

My son comes into my bedroom and sleeps at my feet. He's been doing it at 5am for the last few weeks.
