Is this preterm labour?

First it started with seeing my mucus plug at a trip to the bathroom at 33 weeks

It wasn’t red or anything so the doctor said it was fine

Then my amniotic fluid was at 7 and my doctor got concerned and started to monitor me because she thought I was dehydrated

It went up and then again down to 8

I told her I felt my stomach very tight but no contractions or pain so she did a cervix check and I’m 2cm dilated at week 35

Has this happened to anyone this early?
