So me and my boyfriend are moving into an apartment this is our first apartment together and he's lived in an upscale apartment previously and was always up to date on everything but lived with his ex as well a little back info they broke up a couple of months before the lease ended he left and she stayed and she's always kept the place a disaster, had other people living there that weren't on the lease(like 4) & animals that would pee everywhere that the complex had no idea about either so if she ended the lease I'm sure it wasn't in the best condition. The lady reached out to us and asked if he's ever lived everywhere just a day after we put in the application.. why do you think she was asking and if they do call what do they normally ask because as I said he has nothing on his credit about utilities and or bad renters history. His credit is just a little low because he's building it and they do not go off of credit.

I'm worrying because we really need this place before September because we're living with my parents and I'm pregnant and would be homeless if we can't find anything else. Thanks in advance. (:
