Is it better to not look at the ultrasound ?

I have my next ultrasound in two weeks and we will find out the gender, but this time we want to wait until birth lol it makes things exciting, or I want to tell the tech to write it on a paper and when we really can’t wait anymore we can open it. But I’m afraid when I look at the ultrasound I will find out, my first is a girl and I already know what the hamburg looks like lol so this time if I see anything different I will know its a boy lol. So if you don’t want to know the gender is it better to not look at the ultrasound?

If you tell them you don’t want to know they’ll avoid that part and tell you to turn when they look for it. It such an in-depth ultrasound I don’t think you’ll stumble on it by accident. I only saw the gender parts when they specifically looked for it.

Yes definitely tell them you don't want to know cuz I saw my sons penis before they told me or even go in that place..he just kind of spread legs while laying on back and I saw it 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you actually want to wait until birth I definitely would not have them write it down 😂 I would last approximately 15 mins before opening that envelope.
But yeah, as other commenter has said, just let them know you want to be surprised and they will tell you when not to look. They spend a lot of time on the head and chest so you can look during those moments.
