How to gain my husband and his families trust again?

My in laws have never really treated me as family and have always made me feel as if I’m not good enough for their son and their family. My in laws have always been so interfering in my marriage. I decided to open up to a so called friend about the problems with my in laws which she then went and told my in laws and now they are mad at me. My husband and his family are saying they no longer trust me! My husband said he is going to divorce me 😥
I don’t know what to do. How do I gain their trust again? Does anyone have any advice?

Honestly? They sound like terrible people. If there are no kids, I would just consider cutting them out of my life. Not a battle worth fighting.

What does the way you feel about them have anything to do with trust ? You have the right to express how you feel ! If they "cant trust you" over that , then that means they know how they're treating you is wrong & they dont want anyone else to know .

I’d get the divorce papers because the husband is not it. Seriously ? And the friend is a snake 🐍. You could do better without all those mfs in my opinion. I’d be telling him to get his crap and to sleep at mommy and daddy’s couch.

Don't worry about the family for now, they won't matter if you and your husband get divorced. Talk to your husband. Why is he saying he is going to divorce you? For airing his family's dirty laundry? That seems trivial unless it was something major.

I would focus on rebuilding your husband's trust first. You can't gain his family's trust without him first. Have you talked openly and honestly with him?

Don't bother. You're allowed to vent. They don't consider you part of the family anyway so nothing you do or say is going to change that. Don't feel bad for reacting to them.
