Zyrtec safe for breastfeeding?

When I look up the best allergy medicine for breastfeeding a lot of results instantly pop up and say zyrtec and how it’s recommended. But when you look at the back of a package it says not recommended.

Most drugs say not for pregnant or breastfeeding. That is because the tests are not done on these group and you should discuss the need with a doctor.
So call doc and ask if it is ok to take.

Yep! I took that while pregnant and while breastfeeding (still do). My doctor's only warning was that there was a tiny chance it could reduce how much you're producing so to just watch for that. I had no issues with that though.

Zyrtec is actually recommended because it’s one of the only allergy meds that won’t affect your supply!
