Bath and body works products for pregnant ladies?

Hiii guys 
I have read few articles about how bath and body products cause birth defects and not pregnancy safe? Is it true? 
How many of you use bath and body products while pregnant?

I’m an MD (not an OB) and that stuff is not allowed in my house even when I’m not pregnant. It’s terrible for you! You can put essential oils in a diffuser if you want good smells, but anything that says “fragrance” on the bottle just means “any chemicals we want and don’t need to disclose”. It could be thousands of toxic things listed as “fragrance”.

I don’t even use there products when I’m not pregnant so much chemicals and nasty stuff in there that you put on your skin and gets absorbed into your blood stream

I'm not sure about birth defects, but with the number of chemicals in those products I wouldn't be surprised. Plus all the artificial fragrances are huge hormone disruptors, which you don't want at any time but definitely not while pregnant.

I stopped using them altogether 2 years ago when I learned about their harmful chemicals

I recently saw an article about this but hadn’t heard of it before. I only really use their candles.. not that worried about it.

After over 10 years of using them I stopped after my dermatologist spoke about how bad they’re for the skin. She said to only use Dove, Aveeno or Olay.
