Good Evening. I am truly heart broken. I just started a job 2 weeks ago and I am 9 weeks pregnant. Last week I called out bc I was so beyond nauseous and couldn’t even get out of bed , my work was understanding about that.

Yesterday I went to urgent care for a sore throat and I passed out due to dehydration. It turns out I had strep. However the dr told me to not return to work until Saturday (we don’t work weekends.. so it would be monday) however I was gonna return tomorrow.

My work calls me at 8:30pm and tells me i can’t come back right now “ because I am pregnant and in my first trimester, and that the first trimester I will call out a lot due to being sick and that once I’m out of my 1st trimester that I can call them and see if there is a job available for me” they also said I was supposed to train this girl today .. even though nobody has trained me on anything since everyone had Covid the first 2 weeks I was there.. and they were upset they had to cancel an event today bc I wasn’t there to train…

Anyways.. i am so screwed! I was JUST starting to get my life together!!! 😭😭😭
