I need some help understanding my body and what's going on with me. 
Last year I ended a very abusive relationship. Half way through the relationship I noticed a lack of labito. I thought it was the circumstances I was in but I've been single for over a year and now it's like I have no drive at all now. I've tried to have sex with new people and it's just not how it used to be. I used to be in love with love and now I can't make any romantic connections at all. I don't get butterflies anymore.  I can't develope a crush anymore. I just don't understand myself. Everything about me has changed and I didn't even notice it happening. It is so frustrating because I don't even feel like me. 
Does anyone have any tips or has anyone been in a similar situation and knows how to help? If there's anything I can do to help myself please let me know.   TIA

It could be psychological, it could be physical, could be emotional. You said you were in a toxic environment, so it’s understandable, when someone treats you like shit, how on earth can you be turned on. On top of that, you’ve probably got some trauma from it. You probably need emotional connection to someone in order to feel more of the intensity, you need to be with someone you feel safe with, probably a relationship rather than just something casual. You also have to remember it is psychological because if you’re thinking about your past, if you’re thinking about how things used to be, if you’re sabotaging yourself, with overthinking, or you’re exhausted, or a side effect of your medication, not just anti-biotics or Birth control, different medication is going to have different side effects, I had an ex he was a diabetic, and when they changed up his medication, and unfortunately the side effect was he cannot get an erection￼￼. He went and got Viagra and a penis pump. You do what you Gotta do. It could be physical are you stimulating blood flow down there are you masturbating, are you watching porn, are you stimulating yourself, your visual aspect, sexes visual, psychological, everything. If you’re thinking about the kids waking up or walking in on you, you’re thinking about work and stress and everything that happened in the past how on earth can you be turned on. You also have to remember it could be hormonal, as women we cycle every 30 days, men’s cycle every 24 hours, So what works for a man does not work for a woman. Even if you’ve had a hysterectomy or menopause, we still cycle with the moon. There is always a time of the month that we feel more tired or have less energy￼￼￼ etc. and that’s understandable, as we get older, our hormones change, as we have children, our hormones change, as we go through situations, we build walls to protect ourselves, whether they are mental, or they are physical, keeping yourself from the situation, maybe you haven’t healed completely from your past, maybe some mental therapy would be beneficial, maybe revisiting your past, going places you are used to go doing things you used to do, to prove to yourself that you can do anything, or the forgiveness process. You forgive yourself for the choices and decisions that you made, you forgive those that hurt you, not to their face, but to yourself, not because they deserve it, but because you deserve peace within and they are no longer going to be the reason for your unhappiness. You are no longer giving them the ability to control your emotions, you’re no longer giving them the power, they no longer get to win. Choosing to live in the past, choosing to relive the past over and over again, but truly taking off the backpack and the boulders that you were carrying￼. They no longer serve you, you are not that person anymore, you are not a victim, you are victorious, a warrior, and a survivor. Maybe there’s some psychological work that you need to do, maybe there are some physical work that you need to do, but you will get there eventually and whether that includes changing up your birth control, or using a water-based lube, or waiting until you are in a relationship to feel that emotional connection to someone you have to figure it out. Same here, I broke up with my ex a few months ago and it's the same for me. I think it takes time to get back to normality but don't stress over this, listen to your body if now it's not the right time it's ok, you will get your libido back and you will have butterflies as soon as you are ready.
