Why would you have unprotected sex knowing what your doctor told you?

You were told not to have unprotected sex for 7 days 
You need to learn to follow instructions from your doctor also ring them and tell them what you did so they can advise as you are not meant to take  plan b on BC but you may need to on this occasion

Can never be too safe if you’re not trying to get pregnant. But next time listen to your doctor. If he says 7 days, it’s 7 days.

I would take a Plan B as it takes about a week for the birth control to be completely effective. But keep in mind when you take the plan B, typically that’ll mess with the pill (depending on the pill), it typically makes the pills not effective for ABOUT A WEEK. So during the next week continue to take your pill but do not have unprotected sex. Use a condom or refrain from having sex for the next week to reduce your chances of getting pregnant after taking plan B

i was on the pill and took it strictly for over year. still got pregnant, bc it can fail... you’ve got to be careful about these things. before letting your bf do that again, i suggest making sure the bc is working accordingly. are you on a cycle, does your period come when you take the placebo pills, etc.
