i’m currently in college in a medical program, still working full time in car sales, have my own car pay my own bills etc. my bf who’s the same age is currently unemployed, keeps saying he’s gonna enroll in college but doesn’t, doesn’t have his own car, i will give him the fact he went into the army but he’s reserves and keeps saying he’s gonna go active but never hands in his paper work. i’m just getting really annoyed. he says he wants to move out wants to get married wants to start his life but he doesn’t do anything about it. i’m SO tired of being the one that provides, being the only one that actually wants to move out and be independent. it’s like he’s comfortable where he is and idu why. i don’t know anybody that WANTS to stay living with their family. especially a family he complains about living with 24/7. he says we can’t rush life but it’s like when are you gonna even TRY to accomplish things ? like i’m sorry i was independent at a young age i don’t want someone that’s still sitting around not making moves for the future, i don’t want to be with someone ok with living with their mom forever. i try talking to him about moving forward with our lives all the time and it’s like he just can’t comprehend it. i’m just TIRED.
