I'm 30 weeks right now and I'm leaning towards labouring in water and possibly water birth but I don't know exactly what I need. What do you need for a pool? I was thinking of just buying a kiddie pool off amazon or something but can I just use a normal gardening hose to connect to the sink to fill it up or do I need to buy something special for it? And what do I need to empty it after? Is it worth it or should I just do a land home birth?

Do you recommend a water birth or does anyone have any experiences/advice they can offer? I'm still not 100% leaning towards birthing in the water but I definitely want to prepare in the pool to help with pain.
