My memory of the first day after my C-Section is a little foggy - I had only slept about 30 minutes in the past 72 hours so I’m trying to remember what the whole process was after the actual surgery is done. I feel like they took my epidural out in the recovery room? And massaged me maybe once. And then I do remember they wheeled my entire bed down to the next floor where my husband was finally able to bring my baby to me.

I remember the compression things on my legs being an issue that first night because I couldn’t get to my baby with them on and he was crying and the nurse didn’t come for ages - I finally ripped them off myself so I could get close enough to him to pick him up - and then got in trouble for taking them off 🤣 but I don’t remember at what point I could take them off? I also don’t remember them taking my catheter out 😂 the other thing I don’t remember is at what point I was able to get up and walking? My csection was at 8pm and I know I asked at some point and the nurse was mad I hadn’t been up before that, not sure if she was irritated at Me, or the other nurses?? - can someone help me with a timeline??
