My older kids are 3 years and it worked out great. Oldest was in prk when baby was born so I had a good bit of time alone with her during the day just like I had with my first. That made the first year go smoother I feel. Also only one in diapers at a time and the 3 year old was independent enough, able to get dressed on her own, feed herself at the table and so on. I had no problems traveling with them alone at this age gap. Didn’t have to worry about a double stroller or two big clunky car seats. 
Also lucked out with them being the same gender, hand me downs worked out perfect and my oldest now 14 still passes her old clothes right on down to my 11 year old. 
Now there’s going to be a 14 and 11 year difference between them and this baby lol.

My boys are exactly 18 months apart (now 4.5 and 3 YO) and it was the perfect age gap for our family. They are the best of friends, there are minimal squabbles and they literally couldn’t love each other more 💙

My kids are 3 years apart I’ve got a 6 year old son & 3 year old daughter & due with my daughter in November. My son has been the best big brother I love my kids age gaps I’m sure my daughter will be a great big sister when I have the baby but both of my kids are excited for their sibling to arrive 🥰

I personally loved our 3 year gap. It definitely helped to have a child who wasn’t completely dependent on me as Baby needs a lot of attention at the beginning.There will be a 4year gap between our next 😊

My first two are 19 months apart and I love the age gap. It’s definitely a lot having them both in diapers, cribs and the oldest still very much needing me for everything, but I love it. There has been so jealousy or problems. My first has been nothing but sweet and caring for my second. Now I’m pregnant with my third and this one will be 18 months apart from my second. I’m so excited!

My children are 2 years apart, it is a good age gap, they play together but also fight but that's siblings. It is hard some days but no matter what age difference it is, it's always going to be the same.
