Hello!

I am currently 22 weeks and diagnosed with GD again. My first pregnancy was 5 years back where GD was found around 27-30 weeks. I was only given portion control and was under insulin. I did do my exercises rigorously but the doctor told me I would be induced at 38 weeks for fear of a big baby. But the day before I was to be induced , I went into labour and was told C section would only be possible since my pelvis was not adequate and the baby’s body might get stuck.

For this pregnancy I chose to get my delivery done at a birthcentre run by midwives with higher rates of vaginal delivery and also VBACs. The Doctor has said if my sugars are under control, exercise daily and the baby is not too big she can give a try in VBAC given the diabetic complication. I just want to know if any of you had any experience of a successful VBAC with GD.
