I have been on Junel fe for over 4 years now and my period every month has always been light and lasts for only a few days. This month i got my period a day before i started my sugar pills and have been on it from saturday-today(wednesday). It is super heavy (i never had to use super+ tampons but now i do) and my cramps are insane.

I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and i took a z-pack last week but i looked it up and it says that z-packs don’t interfere with birth control effectiveness.

Should I be concerned with how different this period is from others?
