I didn’t realize that the trigger shot could create a false positive.

Today is 8 days after taking trigger shot. Knowing it was too early to take a pregnancy test I still decided to take one. I’m super excited because it’s our first timed intercourse cycle. My excitement got the best of me.

I didn’t have to pee lol but I was determined to take it. A couple drops got on the test (honestly I didn’t think it activated the test). I tried to get my mind off of it and started to clean. I happened to look at the test and even with the couple of droplets to my surprise, it was positive.

My husband told me that he’s concerned the medicine could cause a false positive. So I googled it and saw that it could 🙁

I was planning on taking another on Sunday so that would be 11 days. I don’t even know if I should though.

I wanted to see if anyone had any experiences that they could share?
