how do you deal with sending your baby to daycare??

i’ve been a SAHM, and every time I think of putting him (3months) into daycare I get so sad😭 i’m also nervous because of hearing stories of daycare’s mistreating kids, I need some tips! how did you find the right daycare??

Is there anything you can do for extra cash at home? Working and having to pay for daycare (plus gas to go to work oof) makes the “extra income” not worth it. I don’t like the thought of putting kids especially babies in daycare, they need their mamas so much especially this young. I’d rather find ways to not spend so much money, strictly budget then leave my baby with strangers (or even someone I know) I want o be the one raising my kids.

My first postpartum experience wasn’t at all what I wanted it to be.  It was depressing and I was dealing with really bad PPA.  I’m glad I went back to work at 12 weeks PP because I really needed to get out of the house.  I had found the daycare she would go to when I was only 13 weeks pregnant.  It was an in home daycare in my neighborhood.  Every parent in the daycare emailed me to sing the daycare providers praises.  
The morning I dropped my daughter off I sobbed on my way to work.  I was lucky to have supportive coworkers.  I had friends that advised me by day 3 it gets easier and they were spot on.  The daycare provider texted me pictures throughout the day also which helped. 
Fast forward.. my daughter is now three.  She excels in academics and socializes every day and what our daycare provider offers to her is way more than I think I could honestly!  She’s an in home Montessori pre school.
Now I’m 12 weeks pp with my 2nd daughter and my postpartum experience was tremendously better and I’m devastated about leaving her in daycare.  But I’m reminding myself that she will excel beyond my wildest dreams there.  And it’s gonna be just fine!

That’s exactly the reason I chose to be a SAHM.  No matter how nice the daycare, they won’t treat your baby better than you would. You can be replaced at work, but not as a mom. Our babies need us especially at this age. We’ve made financial sacrifices so I don’t have to work yet it’s been worth it to spend every day with my kids. ❤️
