BV and sex?

hey ladies!!

so on friday morning ( 2 almost 3 days ago) i went to an urgent care for some minor itching on my vagina. they told me I have BV and it’s completely normal and can’t be given to my boyfriend. they gave me a 7 day supply of antibiotics. i take 1 pill every 12 hours

i took my first pill friday 06/10 at 4ish pm.

can i have sex with my boyfriend? i’ve seen some articles saying to avoid it and some saying since men can’t get BV, you can have sex.

anyone have any personal experience and can help a girl out?
