Miscarriage???

Question

Today I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks 3 days and was told baby is measuring 6 weeks and that I will have a miscarriage. Am trying to stay hopeful but has this happened to anyone else and went on to have a normal pregnancy?

You could’ve just implanted later than you expected. 
They shouldn’t just assume miscarriage. They should have you come in in 2 weeks for a follow up appointment to check progression.

Why would they tell you that?! I have been measuring 1 week and 1 day behind since 6 weeks and I am 12 weeks now and baby is happy and healthy! How dare they tell you that you’ll most likely miscarry!! Measuring behind is not a death sentence for baby, that is insane. I am so sorry! You stay strong mama and get yourself a new OB STAT!💓💪🏻👶🏻

You saw the baby. That’s the important part. As they said you could have just ovulated late. I wouldn’t despair just yet but wait for the next scan 🤞
