Did you throw up during labor?

I’m just curious how many people threw up during labor. I did. I was also induced on Pitocin. I’m just curious if it is a normal thing regardless of having Pitocin or not.

Throwing up, pooping... These are all common things in labor. Meds or no meds. Don't worry, they don't mind you throwing up at hospital, they hand you an Interesting bag that to do it. 😀

Don’t think it matters if given pitocin or not. It’s how your body responds to pain. Me, I had a fast labor 4.5hrs from start to birth. I did vomit and no induction at all.

I didn’t have pitocin or an epidural, but only felt the urge while my body was expelling baby. The nurses were telling me to not push and it made me feel SUPER sick. I did not vomit though. I couldn’t hold baby in at all, it was a very involuntary thing.

Only for my first labor, I puked while getting my epidural.  But I was also so sick my entire pregnancy.

I never puked with any of my 4 labors and I had Pitocin with all of them.

I got sick w the epidural with my first, which was like 5 hours before the pitocin. I had pitocin with both my deliveries and didn’t throw up.

I had the worst heartburn during later and ended up throwing up and felt much better. my doctor had them give me a liquid to drink, but I'm not sure what it was.
