IVF rant and discouraging feeling

Hi everyone!

My husband and I decided to see a fertility specialist in December 2021. We started with all the testing in January. Finally egg retrieval in May. Here we are almost 6 months in, still no transfer?! I was told today, we probably won’t get a transfer earliest end of July. Is this the timeframe for everyone? Something tells me that our doctor is just prolonging everything with unnecessary tests. Now they told me today. We have to do a mock transfer, then start me again on injections for a week before the transfer. I’m a little discouraged, I thought we would be done with all this by now. I’ve heard of other people who are done with everything within a few months.
