So my boyfriend had glandular fever in October 2021. He currently has the same symptoms again yesterday. Whenever you Google the symptoms of glandular fever it says it’s so rare for you to get glandular fever twice. The only difference is this time he has a sore throat this time. His aunt suggested that we check if his tonsils are swollen which they are & he has “puss balls” which his mum calls them at the back of his throat. Me being his girlfriend of a little under a year I want him to go get checked over by a doctor whereas him being a stubborn male won’t go to hospital. His mum is a phlebotomist (dealing with blood, nurse) and my boyfriend has told me she gave him codeine & he’s eating ice cream. Just wondering how long the recovery should take.. & if he will be ok due to his family not making him get checked over by a professional
