I have been having brown discharge since last week Thursday and since then I have had some red blood with blood clots. My midwife and doctor said it’s nothing to worry about and I should monitor it but I was worried. I called up again the following day and got checked over by a doctor ( he checked to see if my womb was closed which it was, but refused to do an ultrasound despite the bleeding). From my last period and positive pregnancy test I should be 12 weeks today. I booked a private ultrasound as I was worried and they could not see a baby and only the yolk sac. I immediately call the hospital and get an internal ultrasound and I am 5 weeks. He said I may be miscarrying and to come back in a week to have another scan. My sac was an abnormal shape and baby’s heart rate was slow. Any experienced this? I have no pain and the bleeding is on and I can go a day or two without it.
