How are some of you getting your hcg levels?

Are you getting from your doctor sending you for labs are are you scheduling labs yourself?

My doctor ordered HCG and progesterone labs for me. I was on medicated cycles though and have a history of loss. Not all providers deem it necessary. And for most people it's not necessary to have done

A provider would need to order lab work for you. It’s also very common to not get repeat hgcs done. I didn’t have an appointment or blood work until 8 weeks for example, first pregnancy.

My doctor orders mine but we also have a lab near us where you can do a walk in pregnancy blood test. It’s called Labcorp so you could see if you have one near you.

My ob wanted a blood test before they scheduled an ultrasound. This is my first pregnancy and my HCG levels are lower than expected and they didn’t double on the second test. So I have a 3rd test scheduled for Monday for HCG and progesterone cause they want to monitor it. Never a bad thing to do the test if they suggest it
