Hi,

If you have a hormonal IUD how was your experience for the first month or so? I got an IUD put in this Monday and have been having tremendous amounts of pain. It was uncomfortable the entire procedure and including this entire week. I have been experiencing weird sharp pains that are very frequent. Nothing really seems to help though. I’ve tried heating pads and Advil. Any suggestions, and if you have experienced similar side effects, what remedies did you use?

Btw This is the first time I have had an IUD and I had it put in to help my painful periods :(
