Contractions

I am 39+2 today. FTM here

Been having pretty good contractions for the last couple days, especially when I’m relaxing. They start in my back and work their way to the front. They last about 30ish or more seconds and are about every 10 minutes give or take a few.

I’m curious as to how painful yours got and when you decided to go to the hospital because of it. Also, are real contractions supposed to be “painful” when laying down or are they only real when you’re walking?

I need help understanding them I guess.
