If you knew your daughter was getting sexual abused what would you do?

So here is a little background. When I was around 6 to 9 years old my cousin sexual abused me. Our moms found out because they walked in. The only thing my mom said was stop it or we will take it to court. I am now almost 30 and she didn't even talk to me about it or take me to therapy or nothing.

Well idk about the cops. It depends on the age of your cousin, how well he was aware of what he was doing and how wrong it was and wether your moms knew it was one-sided. But definitely a LOT of talk and therapy for BOTH of you.

Where is the option for bury a body? Sexual assault is wrong regardless of who is doing it and is traumatizing especially at that age. You should’ve gone to therapy a long time ago and if it continued to bother you past the “recommended” therapy sessions, then you should’ve continued going until you felt you didn’t need it anymore. I’m sorry your mom never did anything to help your mental health with that experience. If I ever found out my daughter was being sexually assaulted by anyone at any age they would feel the wrath of mama bear, regardless of who they are.

Therapy then, now and whenever is needed. And law enforcement if age appropriate for the abuser. SA is SA regardless the gender.

Therapy, call the cops, press charges, restraining order, drop them from the family. Literally all of the things! Anything and everything I have to do to keep my babies safe.
