I’m white, so not celebrating, as it’s not my place to do so. I am trying to commemorate it, though.
I talked about it with my kids today and we read an online article together (we’ve done this the past couple years). I made a purchase from a black owned online store, and made a charitable donation.

We went to the Juneteenth festival and talked about it. Our kids are biracial so we want them to understand.
