Metronidazole

Hello I was contacted by my obgyn office last Monday saying they found BV and they would send over prescription. By the end of the week no prescription was sent and I started to worry and went to an urgent care and explained the results of the exam and that I was scared to not have prescription. Dr prescribed me metronidazole 500 mg for 7 days and so far I’ve only took 3 pills . Obgyn end up calling me and saying to stop taking them after I informed him what urgent care prescribed me. He says he doesn’t recommend until 14 weeks but when I picked up prescription from cvs the pharmacist said it was okay to take. So I thought I was fine. I did stop taking the pills today and wanted to see if anyone else had took them and what were the results? I’m freaking out it’s my first pregnancy and I’m 10w 5D
