Fast fetal heartbeat

Hi everyone!

10w2d measuring 3 days behind - <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> pregnancy!

My last scan today at my clinic, baby looked good. But the heartbeat was between 181-185 bpm.

They made me feel worried saying this is a marker that I’m higher risk for miscarriage.

Anyone have similar heartbeat and all was okay? I’ve heard mixed things between my OB and fertility clinic.

My babies heart rate was in the 180s for my first ultrasound now at 22 weeks it’s at 150s

Definitely normal at 10w! Sounds like they are just being cautious which is bittersweet.

Thank you for this! it brought me a lot of comfort! This whole journey, especially having a loss earlier this year and it being IVF has been so stressful but this really helped!

I think a high heart rate this early is normal. Also, when I was 30+ weeks I had to have a monitor on for 20 mins to check his heart rate 2 times a week until delivery. It would go from 120s - 180s all the time. If he was active it would be in the 180s a lot. He’s perfectly healthy 4 month old now

Thank you for your response! My little babe was very active the tech was even having a hard time getting measurements lol! So hopefully that explains the higher heart rate

Both of my boys had heart rates in the 180-185 range on their first 2 ultrasounds. 🙂
