Diaper Rash Solutions?

Question

I’ve tried aquaphor, destin, corn startch, baby powder, boudreaux cream, bamboo diapers…
Nothing seems to help. My 1 and a half year old has been getting diaper rashes every couple weeks all year. 
When she’s home I change her diaper like every hour unless she’s sleeping. She goes to daycare during the day and I ask them to change her often and apply cream but nothing helps. 
Any advice? Her butt is sooo red and she screams when I try to change her 😩

Have you tried changing the brand of diapers you’re using? Sometimes it’s all about diapers and chemicals in them. My sons diaper rash was worse with Pampers, we switched to Honest, and it was much better. 
Also, keep her naked waist down at home for as long as you can, or put on cotton underwear. Yes, it can get messy but it will definitely help to air out her bum.

Our son had it horrible from birth. Our pediatrician recommended calmoseptine cream. We also switched to Zarbees diaper cream, water wipes, and Hughes special delivery diapers. It cleared up and it hasn’t come back.

Have you had it checked by the doctor? possibly a yeast rash?

I would talk to the pediatrician. Make sure it isn't yeast or possibly fungal. Our youngest was the same with diaper rashes. We were prescribed a compound cream and also an antibiotic ointment to apply before the cream. We also did baking soda in bath water. Hope you find something that helps.

Change the brand of diapers and wipes your using. If its a frequent issue ghats this bad its probobly the diapers and wipes doing it to her. If the rash is white or flakey looking its a yeast rash and needs a antifungal cream.

Sometimes the cream can make it worse if it's not used properly... it should be a very thin layer on the skin, not a thick, caked on mess.

Have you’ve tried Vaseline? My pediatrician recommended it. It’s cheaper and works. So far it has been.  I’d definitely try different wipes and diapers. Sorry your going thru this. Also making sure baby’s butt is dry before close the diaper.

Don’t use wipes. Try bamboo disposable cloth and water

Honest brand diapers and wipes only. Burts bees diaper rash ointment. Only bathe in warm water and unscented dr bronners soap. Really give it a go and avoid all other products/brands.
