You cant try and sway gender. Its a 50/50 chance. I just wanted a happy baby and i got a happy baby whos a very happy toddler now

I never bothered trying any of the old wives tale methods. I'm pregnant with my fourth. Husband wanted a girl because we have 3 boys. I didn't really have a preference. It's another boy.

I’d love a little girl first, but also a boy at some point. We did IVF and have the option of picking the gender, be we choose not to. Honestly the surprise is half the fun. 
None of the methods for trying to conceive a specific gender naturally work. Those who say otherwise would have ended up with the gender they got no matter what.  
It depends on what sperm makes it to the egg first. The gender is decided before the embryo even implants.

We chose to transfer a girl. We did ivf not for gender selection but found it to just be a perk from pgt testing. Currently 10w4d
