When did you prepare!

Question

If you’re a second time parent , When did you prepare your bassinet / swings and stuff ?
I feel like I’m taking too long to prepare lol but I have a 3 year old and feel like he’ll just start jumping and climbing on things and potentially break them before my new son comes here.
Im 36 weeks now and just have to motivation to prepare due to How destructive my first son is 😭😭😭😭
Also when did you prepare your to go hospital bag??

I’d put the bassinet and swing together as you’ll be using those soonest and just lock them up in the nursery or another room you can lock the door to. As far as your hospital bag, I’d get going on that too since you’re nearly early term at this point.

I’m 36w with number 3 and have the cot set up, the car seat installed and my suitcase packed.
I have the bassinet in pieces on my lounge room floor at the moment.

I'm 37w now and I have a 3 year old too and yes you are right she is climbing inside everything and making her toys try on everything. Luckily I still have her old swing and carry nest so I have taken those out and told her to use them instead of the new baby ones. She doesn't use pacifiers but I had to dig out and find her old one cuz as soon as she saw the new baby ones she wanted one too 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Well I had my 3 at 37 weeks so I was prepared at about 35 weeks.
With my second I was prepared at 35 and had him at 38 weeks.
